It has never been easier to visit Lebanon from Cyprus for a quick tour of our neighbouring country. Varianos Travel is pleased to offer a single day tour with a flexible program to cover every tourist's needs. We offer round trip air tickets between Cyprus and Lebanon and a car with a driver to take you around this beautiful country. Flights depart Larnaca every day at 07:00 and arrive in Beirut at 07:45. Return is on the same day with the flight leaving Lebanon at 20:45 and landing back at Larnaca at 21:25.

Your driver will be waiting for you just after customs to take you wherever you wish. You can pretty much set your own program or follow one of our suggested itineraries. Entrance fees or other out of pocket expenses are not included. What is included is unlimited mileage in an air-conditioned vehicle and a driver with a positive attitude. Here are two itineraries you might like to consider:
Baalbeck and Downtown Beirut
Head for the ancient city of Baalbeck to view the spectacular ruins that great civilizations have left behind in Lebanon. Stunning Greek, Roman and Byzantine temples and buildings dot the ancient site which is well worth a visit. From Baalbeck return to Beirut to have lunch in one of the classy Downtown Beirut restaurants and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Solidere area. Time permitting visit Beirut's archeological Museum (closed on Monday) or take a stroll along the palm lined seaside Corniche and marvel at the vibrant life of Beirut. Return to Beirut airport for your departure to Cyprus by 18:45. |
Byblos, Harissa, Jeitta and Downtown Beirut
Byblos claims to be one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world and proudly displays its credentials of antiquity. It is a great place to start your tour. From Byblos take the short trip to Jounieh and ride the quirky cable car to Harissa, home of one of the most revered church in the Levant offering spectacular views. Our driver will meet you there and you can continue to the Jeitta Grottoes where the majestic caves enchant all visitors. Spend any available free time in Downtown Beirut and the reconstructed Solidere area. Transfer to Beirut airport for your departure to Larnaca by 18:45.

To proceed with a booking we will need the names of all passengers exactly as they appear on the passports they will be travelling with and the date you wish to visit Lebanon. Payment can be made by direct bank transfer or by credit card. Please note that to enter Lebanon at Beirut airport you must have a passport that is valid for at least three months from the date of entry to the country. The Republic of Lebanon refuses entry to anyone that has a stamp of Israel on their passport.
