Royal Jordan Itineraries

Monday to Saturday

Day 1 - Monday - Arrival at Amman, Jordan airport at 20:30 - Amman

Arrival at Amman's Queen Alia Airport in Jordan. Our representative will meet you with a sign and will assist through visa procedures and luggage identification. You will then meet your driver at the arrival hall and transfer to your hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 2 - Tuesday - Madaba - Dead Sea - Petra

Depart from Amman and drive to Madaba. After a brief visit to the Orthodox church of Saint George with its mosaic map you will stop at the religiously significant Mount Nebo (if time permits) overlooking the River Jordan with its valley and site of two Papal visits in the last few years. You will then make your way to the Dead Sea for a unique swim at earth's lowest point. In late afternoon you will reach Petra where you will check in at your hotel.

Day 3 - Wednesday - Petra

Breakfast at hotel.  Start of a full day visit to the Red Rose city of Petra, the ancient capital of the Nabateans.  The visit will include the main points of interest such as the "Siq", a long winding gorge between two walls of overhanging cliffs, the "Khazneh" more commonly referred to as the Treasury, the Street of Facades, the Court House and the Amphitheater.  After the tour return to the hotel in Petra for overnight.

Day 4 - Thursday - Wadi Rum - Petra

Breakfast at hotel and free time. Depart for Wadi Rum the most enchanting desert in the world.  A wide open space and a setting that resembles that of the moon, Wadi Rum will engulf you with its enigmatic lure.  We will arrange for a jeep tour for two hours inside the desert (people with back injuries or aches should avoid this part). Watch a majestic sunset and enjoy a dinner in the desert.  Transfer back to Petra for overnight.

Day 5 - Friday - Petra - Kerak castle - Amman

Depart from Petra and drive to visit the magnificent Crusader fortress of Kerak with its magnificent views.  Transfer to Amman for overnight.

Day 6 - Saturday - Amman airport departing Jordan 11:15

Breakfast at hotel and then continue to Jordan's Queen Alia Airport airport near Amman for the return flight to Larnaca, Cyprus . Our representative at the airport will assist through departure procedures.  Arrival in Larnaca, Cyprus is scheduled for 12:25.

Wednesday to Monday

Day 1 - Wednesday - Arrival at Amman, Jordan airport at 14:15 - Amman 

Departure from Larnaca and arrival at Amman's Queen Alia Airport in Jordan at 14:25.  Our representative will meet you with a sign and will assist through visa procedures and luggage identification.  You will then meet your driver at the arrival hall and transfer to your hotel.  At 17:00 pick up from your hotel and head to Amman's down town for a walking tour.  Enjoy a snack or fresh fruit juice at the busy city.  Return to hotel for overnight. 

Day 2 - Thursday - Madaba - Dead Sea - Petra

Day 6 - Monday - Amman airport departing Jordan 18:40

Breakfast at hotel and free time. In the afternoon, continue to Jordan's Queen Alia Airport near Amman for the return flight to Larnaca, Cyprus . Our representative at the airport will assist through departure procedures.  Arrival in Larnaca, Cyprus is scheduled for 18:40.

*It is possible to substitute your free time with a visit to Jerash at an extra cost of EUR66 per person (based on a party of 2).

Friday to Wednesday

Day 1 - Friday - Arrival at Amman, Jordan airport at 18:10 – Amman  

Departure from Larnaca, Cyprus and arrival at Amman's Queen Alia Airport in Jordan.  Our representative will meet you with a sign and will assist through visa procedures and luggage identification.  You will then meet your driver at the arrival hall and will  then head to your hotel.  Overnight in hotel in Amman.

Day 2 - Saturday - Amman Panoramic City Tour - Jerash - Amman

After breakfast at the hotel you will take a panoramic tour of Amman to view both the old and modern parts of this ancient but lively city.  Visits will include the Citadel, the Roman theater and the archeological Museum.  You will then head to Jerash to visit the ruins of the ancient Roman city.  Return to Amman for overnight.

Day 3 - Sunday - Amman - Madaba - Dead Sea - Petra

Breakfast at hotel.  You will then head to Madaba.  After a brief visit to the Orthodox church of Saint George with its mosaic map you will stop, time permitting, at the religiously significant Mount Nebo overlooking the River Jordan with its valley and site of two Papal visits in the last few years.  A short drive later and you will be in the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea.  Weather permitting you can experience a unique swim.  You will then make your way to Petra and check in at your hotel.

Day 4 - Monday - Petra
