Hotel Rila is the centerpiece of the Borovets ski resort and truly impresses with its size. Sitting at the bottom of the Martinovli Baraki ski slopes, it offers its guests extreme ease of access to Borovets' ski area. With more then 500 rooms and studios Hotel Rila also presents a widely available and affordable choice for your ski holidays throughout the winter season. Rated as a four star property it has all the facilities one would expect from a ski in ski out hotel including a heated indoor swimming pool. A small casino is located within the hotel.

Prices are per person on bed and breakfast basis for the specific dates mentioned above and for the air fare available at the time of posting. All our packages include air tickets between Cyprus and Bulgaria, round trip transfers between Sofia and Borovets ski resort and hotel accommodation as described above.
Hotel Rila in Borovets is located 73km from Sofia with direct access to the ski resorts 58km of ski runs. The gondola station is located a short walk of about 200 meters downhill.

The spa at Hotel Rila offers its guests a good variety of treatments and massages at what we consider to be exceptional values. A one hour massage with chocolate or a whole body thermal therapy with volcanic stones costs about 35 euro and a classic 50 minute massage only approximately euro 25. As the spa is usually very busy early bookings are recommended and can be made at the hotel.. The stunning glass surrounded indoor swimming pool has a view to the slopes so make sure you bring your swimwear. Together with its adjacent Jacuzzis it is a great place to unwind and relax your muscles after a day at the slopes. Usage is free for guests. There is a small charge for the use of the sauna, steam bath and gym.

Given Hotel Rila's size, its main restaurant has a seating capacity of 380 while a second restaurant, the Iskra provides another 300 seats! Breakfast is buffet style with a wonderful spread of hot and cold dishes to choose from. Dinners is usually buffet style too again with a very big variety of food. Lunch is available from a menu. The lobby bar, a pool side bar and the Vienna cafe have beverages available almost through out the day.

Hotel Rila offers comfortable accommodation in 257 basic but comfortable double rooms and 266 good sized studios in two connecting buildings. Both rooms and studios have a balcony with half of them overlooking the slopes or the rest of the surrounding mountains. Rooms can sleep a maximum of three with the third person sleeping on an extra bed. Rooms come equipped with satellite TV, hair dryer and ensuite bathroom. Studios have a small kitchenette with a refrigerator and can easily sleep four in twin, double and bunk beds.

Hotel Rila is owned and operated by the same company that runs the ski resort. Borosport, the resort's own ski school and ski/snowboard rental facilities are conveniently located inside Hotel Rila's premises. Crèche facilities are available at the hotel for children aged between two and seven. A ski kindergarten is also located at the hotel and accepts children under four. The kindergarten gives children two hours of ski lessons and snacks are provided. Free WiFi connection is available.
