Hotel Description and Location:

Hotel Bistra offers four star accommodations in the premier ski resort of FYROM.  Set in the idyllic environment of the Mavrovo National park at the foot of mount Bistra, it offers true Ski In - Ski Out facilities for skiers and snowboarders at the Zare Lazarefski ski center.  It is about 100 Km from Skopje or about one hour by car.  Driving distance from Thessalonica airport is a little over four hours.

Rooms:

The Bistra Hotel has 40 standard and deluxe rooms with some deluxe rooms sporting private Jacuzzi baths.  All rooms are well furnished and most of them offer great mountain and lake views.  All rooms feature TV receiving satellite channels, live images from the ski resort and the hotel's movie channel.

Facilities:

The Hotel Bistra is easily the best equipped hotel in the lovely mountain resort of Mavrovo.  It features a reasonably sized fitness center, with a heated indoor swimming pool.  You can also relax at the Swedish sauna, the Royal Jacuzzi or, during the winter period, ask for a therapeutic massage.  Special mention goes to the in house restaurant which is probably the best in the region, offering local cuisine and seafood dishes. 

A spacious bar lounge, complete with a huge fireplace, offers a warm cozy place to spend your time in the afternoon or night.  The Hotel Bistra's lounge also offers WiFi connectivity to all of the hotel's guests.

About 200 meters from the hotel is the most lively place of Mavrovo, the Ratrac night club.  Enjoy your drink here while watching how they party in this part of the world.

As always we will tailor make a package to meet your individual needs in terms of stay and room preference for your ski holidays.  Our 2008 prices are eady and available upon request.  All our packages can  include air ticket, taxes, airport/hotel/airport transfers by car or by bus and hotel accommodation on Half Board basis.  Transfer costs to Mavrovo can vary significantly depending on the number of passengers in your group, making it more economical if your friends join you for your ski trip.  For example if your group includes six instead of two persons, prices per person are on average CYP 60 less.
